Furry Friends - PSC66

Happy Wednesday my friends.  Well, I know you'll probably say that we don't have it so tough down here in Texas and that you've got snow, ice, sleet, rain, hail, and every other kind of weather, but I expect Texas to be WARM and it just hasn't been much lately.  Supposed to be down in the 30's again and only up to 66 tomorrow.  Now, I have seen cold.  After all, I grew up in Pennsylvania, but now that I'm here in Texas, I'd sure like it to warm up a bit.  I guess it is what it is, and I'll learn to live with it.  ;)

So on to this week's challenge over at Perfect Sentiment. We know that this week is Valentine's Day and there are Valentine cards all over the place, so this week we're doing Friendship.  The theme is Furry Friendship.  The twist is to create a card that uses an animal image and Friendship sentiment.  It could even be a Valentine's card as long as you stick to the theme and don't forget to put that sentiment on the front of your card.

Materials Used:
  • Image - 2 Cute Ink - Furry Friends
  • Sentiment - Stampin Up - Quick Thinking (punched with the SU Window Punch)
  • Cardstcok - Stampin Up - Crushed Curry and Basic Black; Xpress It Blending Card
  • Designer Paper - Authentique - Essentials Collection
  • Accessories - Ribbon (stash); Flower - Recollections; Cricut - Elegant Edges for black mat; Nestabilities Blossom Die (image);
  • Copic markers - B0000; E01, E11, E21, E25, E31, E34, E35, E55; W0, W7
Our fabulous Sponsor this week is 2 Cute Ink and they are awarded 3 free digital images to one lucky winner.
Now that we've gotten all that out of the way, it's time for you to pop on over to the Perfect Sentiment Challenge Blog and check out what the rest of the Design Team has in store for your inspiration.  Then it's time to break out the ink and stamps and get to work on your own creations.  It can always be a Valentine's Day card as long as you have a critter on it and a message of Friendship.  Don't forget to come back and  link it up so you'll be entered in the challenge drawing.  Good luck, and I hope to see you back again next week.

I'm submitting this card for the following challenges:

LEJ Designs Challenge - For Someone Special
Our Daily Bread Designs - Use an Animal
